Know Your Neighbourhood
Knowing
your neighbourhood will save your life if you need to evacuate. Know
all possible escape routes by car, bicycle and foot. Learn the shortcuts
and know the obstacles. The more you know, the better your chance of
escape. The best way to do this? Get out of your house and check it out.
I like to just leave my house on foot and go which ever ways my feet
take me. I take note of the yards I could cut through if trespassing
wasn’t an issue, as well as buildings that might make good safe houses.
This way I will be prepared when the uprising comes. Will you?
