Hello, and happy Sunday! Another week down, and how did we do? My Mission this week was to get moving. I finally ended my procrastination with the hundred push-up challenge. It went very well, if I do say so myself. I'm going to try to finish by the end of the year, and even more hopefully before Christmas. This is totally do able as long as I keep at it and don't make up excuses to put it off. I also did some walking and...I don't know, other stuff. Anyway, I would say I did pretty well this week.

17 Things Worth Knowing About Your Cat Favorite part: "Kitties are Not Impressed by Cupcakes." So so so so cute. Very Cute.
I didn't post a Things I love Thursday this week. I wrote it - I really did! - but Thursday was a long day and by the time I had it written out I just couldn't bring up the will to make it into a post. Here are a few of the things that made the list: Coffee, forcing myself to exercise (and feeling better because of it), Hamburger Helper, Actually remembering to eat breakfast everyday, silver, bronze, purple, black, navy, Working on my own Happiness Project, Candyman by Aqua (this song makes me lol), Castles, sequins and chocolate peanut butter brownies. Some things I would have added on Friday and Saturday: Gala Apples, My dad for driving me to work when my car broke, Cake, Family and Family friends.
This week, I don't really have a mission per say. I plan on keeping up with the exercise, clean out my closet and maybe bake something. I'm thinking maybe I'm not so into the one focus mission thing anymore. It worked for a few weeks, but I'm really not sure it's some thing I need to do every week, ya know? I don't know, I haven't really decided one way or the other.

Week in review, Week Ahead
Er, Hey, is it really Monday already? I'm a little late on this post. I wish I could say that I had a good reason for not getting this up yesterday, but I really don't. I spent the day playing The Sims 3 and catching up on tv shows.
Anyway, this week I had no mission. I got some rest. The cold is fading a little more everyday, and as of yesterday is mostly gone. Yay! I didn't get any push ups done. I got my Flu shot (just the regular one, not the swine one). That's about it. Yep. I know, thrilling, right?
Good Advice for Bloggers: 100 Ways To Find Ideas For Your Blog Posts You're welcome.
I love Flowcharts. This one made me laugh. My favorite part: "Do You see the boxes?" --->no--->Wait, what? lol.
Best thing I saw on the way home from work: An owl! It flew across the street above and in front of the car. It was 4:30pm, so I don't know why he was awake so early, but it was really cool.
I am totally in awe of people who make awesome cakes. Check out this Solar System Cake. How Cool is that?
Someone painted their nails to look like bacon. Seriously awesome.
This week, my mission is to get moving. Hey remember way back when I was taking walks most days? and when I was doing push ups three days a week? Yeah, Those days are long gone, and I need to get them back.
I'm kind of a little bit more then obsessed with the Happiness Project right now. I'm starting my own project, and exercise fits right into that. I've been coming up with sort of mantras to help me out with it - much like the Twelve Personal Commandments over on the site. One of them I've come up with is Healthiness is Happiness to remind myself exercise more, eat better foods and just generally all around be more healthy.

Week in review, Week ahead
Another week gone. This week, my mission was to Finish what I started. How did I do? Umm...well...not very well. I'm blaming it on the sick that wont go away. I did get a couple of things done that were unfinished, but...yeah. I mostly sulked around and laid in bed and watched tv shows. Thing I did get done: Got back into my one hundred push up challenge on Tuesday (only to fall off the wagon again for the rest of the week). I filled out some paperwork I'd been Putting off for some time. I cleaned the fridge. So I did some stuff. I had much bigger plans, but that's the problem with cold season.
Most Awesome thing I found online: The Flu Menu at Drop Off Service. VIA cmykaboom I've always said you can treat sickness with alcohol (the alcohol kills the germs, right?), but now with these recipes I can totally justify those claims. Favorite Quote (from the The Pomegranate Emergen-C Martini recipe): "the inhuman levels of vitamin C are integral for your well-being. That and vodka."
Something I learned: If I watch videos of beagles in which they howl (like this one), it upsets Jasmine. She thinks I'm hiding doggies in my computer speakers, and it makes her cry.
Best confection EVER: Dexter Blood Slider Suckers! And there are instructions on how to make your own! So cool. So very very cool.
This week I'm not doing a mission. I'm going to keep getting better, get back to my push ups, and that's it. No big plans.

Week in Review, Week Ahead
So, this my weekly mission was to get my house nice and clean. I did alright. I cleaned and put away my muddy boots and did a bit of tidying up on Sunday. I also did a quick sweep of the house (oh I love having all tile floors!). Monday I did a complete cleaning of my beta, Parker's tank which, although the water was clean, was getting pretty green on the sides. And the plants. And the frog ornament. It was pretty slimy. Tuesday was a big day for cleaning. I organized my desk, which was a clutter nightmare. Cables and papers and bills and envelopes and crap. Everything has been filed, thrown out, put away or straightened up. Then I dusted every surface that could be dusted. Shelves, window sills, the top of the big aquarium, ceiling fans, my keyboard tray, the top of my computer, etc. I love my swiffer duster. Wednesday I did nothing. I know. Thursday I did a major sweep of the whole house. I moved the bed and other furniture to sweep under it. Sweep, sweep, sweep. The pile of cat/dog (although mostly cat) hair was kind of scary. I also did laundry and emptied the dishwasher for the third time this week. Friday. I cleaned the bathroom sink & mirror, and also the kitchen sink. I also wiped down the counters and swept the floor again. Saturday I changed the cat litter. Did I get everything done that I wanted to? No. Did I do better then most weeks? Yes.
Most adorable photo I saw this week: Winnie The Pooh Puppy.
Funniest newspaper clipping: More suspicious people! I love the wording "merely Canadian".
New thing I tried: Goose! I've never had goose before. It was...ok. Kind of dry, but not terrible.
Five best things I ate (best to least): 1. Blueberry Pie! 2. Taco Nuggets 3. Barbecue Chicken wings. 4. Pomegranate seeds 5. Halloween Candy
Saturday was Halloween! Pumpkins were carved (not by me, though. I don't carve pumpkins) and candy was given out. Some friends brought a Wii over and we had a bit of a tournament. There may have been beer involved. It's our first halloween in this house, and we didn't know how many kids we'd get, so we guess on how much candy to buy. Well, we had maybe 55 kids, so we've got LOTS of leftovers. Which is just fine by me.
Best Trick-or-treating story I've read ever: This story is hilarious.
Cutest costume seen: Two little kids dressed as teeny-tiny tigers. AWW.
This week's mission is to finish what I started. One thing I stated and didn't finish was last weeks cleaning. I've still got a couple of jobs I want to get done. Also, I haven't done any of my one hundred push ups challenge for almost a month. I wont exactly finish it this week, but I want to get back on track.
What do you want to accomplish this week?

Weekly Mission: Clean Clean Clean
I am not good at getting things done. I can write to do list after to do list and I accomplish very little. So, I've decided to change my strategy and pick one thing a week to work on.
Fall is definitely here in my neck of the woods. The leaves are falling, along with the temperature. That means staying inside more often, with closed windows. People usually do their major house cleaning in the spring, but it's just as important, if not more important to do it in the fall, what with all the closed in air you're now breathing. So, this week my mission is to do some major cleaning.
If you had to pick one thing to focus on this week, what would you pick?
